After fifteen years of incessant and persistent work and performances in clubs all over Spain, Pushmann has become one of Spain’s top DJs and producers – whose influences have been hip-hop, funk and house, among other styles. Pushmann, delivers techno for the mind, body and soul. Pushmann produces a Detroit-like sound with clear and strong influences from the European musical culture, such as Berlin and Birmingham’s. His imaginary sound is based on the fast-paced, industrial and mechanical high-octane techno. In his classic genre, his purest style, he delivers raw goodness to intrigue the listener to take him to a higher level: power, darkness and fierceness serving the dance floor. Pushmann pays special attention and taste for metallic percussion and cavernous steel drums well placed in front of everything, almost warlike. His surgical and haunting melodies, looped and accelerated to paroxysm, never goes unnoticed, shaping his style with a sophisticated bestiality that stuns and spreads like wildfire. As a DJ – this self-confessed lover of vinyl and a three-deck performer – enjoys a refined technique after many years of selecting only the best techno, house and ghetto-techno. His DJ sets are defined as strong, energetic and vibrant performances. In addition to producing on labels like AXIS, Symbolism, KMS Records, Be As One, Matterwave, End Of Dayz, Pushmann is also the owner of N&N Records. His releases have caught the attention, and are being played by artists such as Jeff Mills, Ben Sims, Truncate, Josh Wink, Kevin Saunderson and James Ruskin. Anyone digging through the history of underground electronic music culture in Portugal will inevitably come across the name ‘John-e’. For the past 29 years has been cultivating his passion for music, picking up influences from the many places he’s called home. From Acid Techno to Progressive to House to Disco Breakbeat, and everything else in between, it is not surprising to see him dab into any genre during his sets, particularly in his longer ones in afterhours settings.
Raised & rooted in the climax of the 90’s Rave/ Club Revolution, John-E is part of that generation of DJs who grew under the spell of the early raver years, and throughout his life, John has worked hard to build on that spirit. Born in Portugal, he spent his formative years in Macau, where the echoes of the second summer of love reached its neighbour Hong Kong could he heard by those who tuned in. It was in the former Portuguese colony that John-E kick-start his DJ career, where he landed residencies in clubs across the Pearl River Delta, and guest appearances in legendary parties such as Full Moon in Haad Rin. Yearning to get more immersed in the action, John-E moved back to Europe. He was in London at the dawn of the new millenium one of the world’s epicentres for music exploration, and could often be seen DJing in the city’s coolest venues. He finally returned to Portugal forever shaping its underground scene: his legendary decade-long residency in the infamous club Europa/Sunrise pushed Lisbon’s party hours way beyond sunrise. John-E is also half of the duo Stereo Addiction and till today resident & member of LXMusic where he’s played along-side some of the best artists in the world. Collaborative and unpretentious by nature, John-E loves to share his booth and his knowledge, having been a strong mentor and supporter of countless DJs. Currently holds a monthly residence at Harbour serving Lisbon’s finest breakfasts

DJ and Producer, Gear is part of a select group of national artists who drive the electronic scene in Portugal. Resident at the Harbour Music Shelter, and also integrated into the Aresta team, he concentrates and reflects all his musical genesis to the track in a relaxed way. Involving the public on a very personal trip. It stands out in its productions where in recent times it has launched several themes where collaborations with Hubble Recordings publishers stand out, Vandalism, Piston, HomeMade, and more recently released his first vinyl album on the Belgian publisher MUZI Cartel.
